The Parent orientation is geared towards new Clearwater families, but all families are invited to join! We know that adjusting to Clearwater can take time, not just for students but for the whole family! We'll be providing tips on how to best support your child throughout their time at Clearwater and how to handle unique situations.

Schedule
5:00-5:30 Parents will have the opportunity to figure out what to do at school. We often asked, "How do you get....certified, learn the rules, pursue an interest, decide how to spend your time?" We are designing this first 30 minutes to give you a tiny experiential taste of what it might feel like when you arrive at school. 
5:30-7:00 Simulated School Meeting. We will address topics, issues and questions using the structure of our School Meeting. Please submit "agenda items" that will let us know the questions you would like to hear addressed.
7:00-7:30 Wrap up, cleaning, closing. We will work together to make sure the school is clean and ready for the next day.

Students and siblings
Students and staff will be present to help you gain more understanding of the school. Students are welcome to attend the meeting. Students who are capable of following the school rules this late in the day will be able to use some other parts of the school during the event. Younger siblings are welcome, with sensitivity to the potential of disruption. All children who are here during the meeting should be supervised by their parents (loosely or directly). All school rules apply during after hours events.
