Celebrate Cinquo de Mayo by joining the Clearwater community at our big annual party and festival. Enjoy student performances in music and other performing arts, delicious baked goods, great food and drink and fun family activities from crafts to body painting to outdoor skill games.
Suggested donation.

A program for children from birth through age 5 to experience Clearwater's ground-breaking model of education.
When: Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm (except Presidents Day and Memorial Day)
Fee: $300 per month

Children are free to explore, move between indoor and outdoor spaces, and interact with children of all ages, including older students, in our family-like setting.

Parents are invited to participate in free Play Days on Fridays as an orientation to the program and source of ongoing support.

The Clearwater School's Acting Society presents this campy murder mystery by local playwright Wayne Rawley.
The action takes place in 1958, eleven miles off the coast of California, where a movie crew has started to film a “haunted house on a deserted island alien invasion atomic satellite radiation mutation monster picture”. The play will have you laughing off the edge of your seat.
The show will be performed at Clearwater’s brand new underground theater space. $10 suggested donation will help cover the costs of the production and fund the next play. The play is 1-1/2 hours long, plus an intermission. Homemade bakes goods and beverages will be available for sale.
This performance is already sold out. Seats are still available for the Saturday, June 1, 7:00 PM and Sunday, June 2, 11:00 AM performances. Reserve your seats now by email (info@clearwaterschool.com) or telephone, (425) 489-2050.

Event descriptions:
- WhistlePig 2013 Clearwater’s annual festival of music, food and fun. Everyone’s most anticipated and favorite event, featuring student musical and other arts performances, delicious lunch and baked goods for sale, and fun family activities.
- Information Meeting: A short presentation followed by a question and answer period with Clearwater students, staff and parents. Check the calendar for more information on our April 23, 2013 information event. Refreshments provided. Children welcome; childcare is not provided. Tours during school days are also available on request.
- Summer at Clearwater: Two 4-week blocks open to new and current students. An extension of the regular school year, activities correspond to student interests and include spontaneous activities and outings, planned field trips, swimming, focused projects and hang-out time. In 2013, summer sessions are June 24-July 19 and August 5-30, Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. Full-time enrollment is $760 per session. Weekly or daily drop-ins are welcome on a space-available basis. Bus service from north Seattle can be arranged for an additional fee.
- Clearwater in the community: Clearwater hosts community presentations and discussions at venues around the area. Parents, students and educators are welcome to attend and explore how education works when it is based on trust and responsibility, without testing. From January through April 2013, there are six community presentation and discussion events in our series, No Grades, No Tests, No Problem: The Clearwater School: Education That Prepares You for Real Life.
